Reflection

 

"A FUTURE PERFECT-Innovative minimalist style" this was the title of our essay,

and for the sculpture we named it "Endless Splendid"

In fact, we did a mistakes,

we misunderstanding about"lively colours"

At first, when we discussed the colour selection of our sculpture

we decided to use colourful colours such as candy colours 

(that we both thought is "lively"colour)

After decided the colour (pink,blue and white), 

we done another mistakes

we bought the wrong spray colour (creamy colour)

So, that why our final sculpture look more soft and creamy instead of lively.

After the presentation,

i research again the meaning of "lively" and main use colour in Karim Rashid's design

Lively mean "bright; vivid; glowing; strong; vigorous"

"his use of bold, bright colors is enthralling"

more than, 

the pink that he used frequently was fuchsias colours, not the "pink" that we thought at all.

Besides that, our sculpture was inspired from RIVES.

But the outcome of it more like a fountain.

The water waves should flow in same direction

instead of spurting or spilling.

Of course, we should also improve our finishing to make it perfect!!!
